The Convergence is a 4-day national gathering of over 5,000 youth leaders in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It provides plenaries, workshops, immersions, and cultural events to equip young people in driving SDG-aligned projects
The event is open to youth leaders aged 16–30, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials, student leaders, women and girls, Indigenous Peoples, LGBTQIA+ youth, and representatives from marginalized groups. Adult mentors and development partners may also participate.
The Convergence will take place on November 20–23, 2025 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. Key venues include the Puerto Princesa City Coliseum (plenary sessions), Aziza Paradise Hotel (workshops), and immersion sites such as the Underground River and Sabang Solar Farm.
The program aims to:
Raise awareness and understanding of the SDGs
Foster collaboration through experiential learning
Equip youth with tools to design community projects
Strengthen youth networks with government and civil society
Participants will join plenary talks, panel discussions, breakout sessions, workshops, cultural nights, networking, and site immersions to see real-life sustainability initiatives in Palawan
Early Bird (Sept 15–30): ₱15,000
Regular (Oct 1–Nov 1): ₱15,500
Late (Nov 2–18): ₱16,000
Group Rate (5+ participants): ₱15,000 each
On-site: ₱17,000
International Delegates: $400
The fee includes immersion site access, program kits, meals and snacks, venue use, official event t-shirt, plenary/workshop participation, and logistics for the full 4-day program.
Yes. All registered participants who complete the program will receive a Certificate of Participation. Awards will also be given to 10 outstanding youth-led initiatives during the SDG Youth Awards
You may register online through the official registration portal. After filling out the form, you will be guided to payment options and confirmation instructions. Group registrations are encouraged for schools, organizations, and barangays
The event is organized by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth Philippines (SDSN Youth PH), in partnership with government agencies, local stakeholders, and international development partners
No. Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own transportation to Palawan and accommodations during the event. However, organizers may provide recommendations for hotels and travel options to assist delegates.
