Program Highlights
Over the four-day convergence in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, youth leaders will have the opportunity to learn from respected voices in the UN system, national and local government, civil society, and academia; witness real SDG solutions in action; and transform bold ideas into ready-to-launch projects.
If you’re ready to move beyond advocacy and create real impact, this is your chance to join a network of changemakers and help build a more sustainable Philippines—one where no one is left behind.
Day 1 — Set the Agenda
The first day kicks off with opening ceremonies and messages of solidarity. Plenary sessions set the stage by mapping where we stand on the SDGs and exploring how to localize action in the Philippines. The day continues with thematic discussions and small-group sessions to turn insights into concrete next steps.
Day 2 — See the SDGs in Action
Experience Palawan as a living classroom through immersive visits to key environmental and sustainable projects. Participants will engage in active forest restoration efforts in Cabayugan, explore cutting-edge renewable energy solutions at the Sabang Solar Farm, and witness the successful integration of conservation and tourism at the world-renowned Underground River.
Day 3 — From Ideas to Action
Dive into themed breakout sessions built around the 5Ps of the SDGs—People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership—to co-create solutions and draft a localized Youth Agenda. In the evening, the Cultural & Solidarity Night celebrates diversity through performances and the Ten Outstanding SDG Awards.
Day 4 — Commit and Launch
Conclude the convergence by presenting the final Youth Agenda for the SDGs. The session includes formal commitments from government, civil society, and UN partners. Closing ceremonies will highlight collective pledges and a shared vision for advancing sustainable development across the Philippines.
